The Membership
The Society encourages membership by individuals and corporations involved in any of the wide variety of activities related to coal preparation, and current combined NSW and Queensland membership is over 700.
Members are engaged in operational, engineering, managerial, educational, and scientific activities ranging from investigation and evaluation of coal mining prospects; design, construction and commissioning of coal preparation plants; equipment manufacture and supply; plant operation; the regulation of coal quality for domestic and export markets; coal marketing and utilisation; teaching; research and development; consulting.
