BILL MCKAY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 2005
The NSW Branch of the Australian Coal Preparation Society offers an annual scholarship to encourage studies related to coal preparation. Funding of up to $5000 is available to NSW Branch members or students from any NSW University.
As well as for studies directly related to coal preparation, such as coal flotation, awards in previous years have been made for investigations as diverse as stockpile stability and the rheology of colloidal suspensions, and in support of an overseas study tour.
To enable students to progress their projects in conjunction with vacation employment, if appropriate, applications are now invited for 2005. There is no application form, but written submissions should be made to the Chairman, Education Sub-Committee at the above address.
