The Bloomfield Group announced as major sponsor

The Bloomfield Group

Welcome to the 16th ACPS Conference, Exhibition & 50th Anniversary Celebrations

On behalf of the 2016 Conference Local Organising Committee (LOC), I would like to welcome The Bloomfield Group as our Major Sponsor for 2016.

We are all very aware of the challenges facing our industry and I thank not only The Bloomfield Group but all our sponsors for their generosity as we move closer to the upcoming conference, exhibition and 50th Anniversary celebrations in March.

Our Conference Technical Papers and the newly introduced Poster Paper Sessions will bring together both local and international experts, focussing on new and improved processing techniques at the cutting edge of modern coal preparation. Reflecting in our Conference theme of, “Optimising your Coal and Asset Resources”.

With our biennial Conference returning to the NSW city of Wollongong after 31 years, it is important to recognise in our celebratory year, how important coal mining along the escarpment has been to the evolution of the Wollongong area, shaping its people, its geography and its character.

With the exhibition space now full, 40 exhibitors, including local and overseas companies, attendees will have the opportunity to showcase their equipment and services to hundreds of industry related personnel during the four days of proceedings.

Our LOC has been working tirelessly over the past 12 months to deliver a world-class event. This Conference also proudly marks the 50th Anniversary of our Society, founded as the Coal Preparation Society of NSW in 1966. As a significant milestone in our history, I look forward to warmly welcoming you to the newly refurbished Novotel Northbeach complex, Wollongong for the 16th ACPS Conference and Exhibition.
