Arthur Le Page Lecture - Column Flotation Prof. J Rubinstein

The Arthur le Page lecture for 2018 will be given by Prof Julius Rubinstein and his topic is: Column flotation: history, trends in development, simulation and practices.

Prof., Doctor of Science Julius Rubinstein is currently the director of scientific work at the Institute of Solid Fuels Preparation in Moscow, Russia, and consults worldwide on flotation matters, including in North America.

His scientific interests encompass theory and practice of coal preparation, complex processing of mineral raw materials, flotation of non-ferrous, rare and precious metals, design and development novel flotation machines,  modelling of separation processes, optimization of technological schemes for the enrichment of coal and ores, environmental protection: processing of power station fly ash, waste water treatment and metal recovery from electronic scrap. His work has been widely published internationally in journals and books, including being the  author of the book “Column Flotation : Processes, Designs and Practices”
