Celebrating 50 Years

Peter has been involved with the NSW branch committee and the Australian Board and very active in the organisation of conferences and exhibits. He looked after the membership portfolio for many years and is a Life Member. His service is listed below:

NSW Committee:

• 11 years on the Committee – 2002-03 until 2012-13
• 1 years as Chairman –  2007-08
• Many years on the NSW Society Ball organising committee 

National Board:

• 5 years on the Committee – 2006-07 to 2012-13
• 1 year as secretary – 2006-07 

Conference Committees:

• 4 Local Organising Committees, starting from around 1998 to support the Port Stephens Conference, and working tirelessly with exhibitors and sponsors for every conference since.

Over the time he has been working in the coal industry, Peter has worked for Trelleborg and then Allis Chalmers who became Allis Mineral Systems, then Boliden Allis, Svedala and eventually bought by Metso.
